As part of its efforts to make the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia more inclusive, the Government invited the public to vote for this year’s official Independence Day logo. This initiative was enthusiastically welcomed by the public. As of Friday, June 26, 2026 at 12 a.m, 42,151 people have cast their votes on the official voting website https://logohutri.istanapresiden.go.id/.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, as Chair of the National Committee for the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, stated that the high public participation in the voting of independence day’s logo demonstrated the spirit of nationalism and a sense of belonging to the commemoration of Indonesia’s independence.

“So far, 42,000 people have participated in the voting for the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia’s logo, showing high enthusiasm and a sense of belonging to the nation’s independence day. This is more than choosing a design. It also shapes a visual identity that represents the spirit of optimism and Indonesia’s future aspiration,” he said.

This year, five outstanding designs created by the nation’s talented designers are presented for the voting of the logo for the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence. Under a public participation scheme, the public is invited to choose a logo that best represents the nation’s spirit of unity, optimism, and vision for development.

Prasetyo said that public participation in the logo selection process also reflected the values of mutual cooperation and democracy, which serve as the foundation of national life.

“The Government appreciates the participation of all members of society in this process. The spirit of mutual cooperation and public participation indicates the fact that the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence belongs to all Indonesians. Every vote cast represents a collective contribution to strengthen our unity and foster pride in being Indonesian,” he said.

The Minister also called on the public to continue guarding the voting until the final process, ensuring the chosen logo genuinely becomes a symbol born from shared aspirations of all people of Indonesia.

“We encourage the public to continue participating actively until the selection process concludes, so that the chosen logo reflects our collective aspirations that can unify us as we move toward a more advanced, prosperous, and competitive Indonesia,” he added.
