Rain Fails to Dampen Public Enthusiasm for President Prabowo’s Visit to Bandung

President Prabowo Subianto on Monday (05/25) arrived at Siliwangi Stadium in Bandung, West Java province. The President was welcomed by Governor of West Java Dedi Mulyadi, Commander of Military Region III/Siliwangi Mayor General Kosasih, and West Java Regional Chief of Police Inspector General Rudi Setiawan.
Beyond the official welcome, the President received the most welcome when passing through the streets to the venue. Public enthusiasm was immense since the Presidential motorcade entered the city streets.
People from all walks of life, ranging from locals to elementary school, junior high school, and high school students, stood on the roadsides and waved their hands. Cheers and enthusiastic shouts were heard when the Presidential car passed by them. They waved handheld Indonesian flags as well.
The atmosphere grew even more vibrant when the President greeted the public directly from the sunroof. The President waved back and smiled at the people who continued to cheer enthusiastically.
The public enthusiasm made the Presidential motorcade move at a slow pace. Many people followed the motorcade while using their smartphones to capture the moment.
President Prabowo’s visit was met with warmth and joy by the people of Bandung. Despite a steady drizzle, the weather failed to dampen the spirit of the public, who stood to greet the President.
