Cabinet Secretary Meets East Java’s Vice Governor, Strengthens Implementation of Government Programs

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya received a visit from Vice Governor of East Java province Emil Elestianto Dardak at the Cabinet Secretariat Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday (01/28).
The meeting was held after the Cabinet Secretary had another discussion with the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/the Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).
Through an official statement from the Cabinet Secretariat office, the meeting between Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya and Vice Governor Emil Dardak discussed various infrastructure development plans in East Java province, particularly in Surabaya city. In addition, the discussion also covered the progress of various strategic programs of President Prabowo Subianto in the province.
“Including Village Red-and-White Cooperatives, People’s Schools, food self-sufficiency, and the Free Nutritious Meals Program,” said Teddy.
Furthermore, the Cabinet Secretary emphasized that East Java has a strategic role in national development, considering this province is the second most populous region in Indonesia with around 41 million population. Therefore, modernization and acceleration of infrastructure development in East Java is important to smooth the circulation of the economic chain and increase regional competitiveness.
“President Prabowo gives special attention to the implementation of these programs so that they can make rapid and equitable impacts on all East Java’s people,” he concluded.
The meeting is part of efforts to strengthen coordination between the central government and regional governments to ensure policy synchronization and smooth implementation of national priority programs in the regions. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (EST/TM)
