President Prabowo Arrives in Bali, to Inaugurate Special Economic Zone, International Hospital

President Prabowo received a warm welcome when he arrived at Bali Beach Convention Center, Denpasar city, Bali province, on Wednesday (06/25). The President is scheduled to inaugurate Sanur Special Economic Zone and Bali International Hospital, two strategic initiatives that are expected to strengthen Bali’s position as a healthcare center with international standard.

Four hundred students wearing Balinese traditional outfit showed enthusiasm in welcoming President Prabowo. They were standing in lines and waving small sized Indonesian flags which made the moment really special. In addition, 40 young dancers were performing Pendet dance gracefully which symbolically displayed a warm welcome extended by the Balinese people.

One of the students participating in welcoming the President was Galang, a fifth grader of an elementary school, who expressed his happiness after President Prabowo shook his hands and gave him a hug. “I met him, we shook hands, and I got a hug. I am so happy; it was the first time. May [the President] be always healthy and be a good President,” Galang said with a cheerful face.

Similar expression was also shown by Ega, a child who participated in welcoming the President. “I am really happy, so happy because I can meet with Indonesian President. May Mr. Prabowo be a good President and Indonesian people continue to live in peace,” Ega said.

After the event, President Prabowo asked the children and the dancers to take photos. President Prabowo’s attendance in the inauguration has not only showed the Government’s commitment to the development of health sector and medical tourism, but also created a precious moment for the children and the people of Bali.
