President Prabowo, National Economic Council Discuss Economic Strengthening, GovTech Upgrade

President Prabowo Subianto on Tuesday (07/14) received Head of the National Economic Council (DEN) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan along with members of the Council at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor regency, West Java province. The meeting discussed the latest development of national economy and strategic measures to strengthen Indonesia’s economic resilience amid global dynamics.

“The Council also reported the upgrading of GovTech as part of the government digital transformation acceleration,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said.

The upgrading of digital-based government services is aimed at improving data accuracy so that government programs can reach the communities that are deemed eligible.

“The upgrading also helps minimize mistargetings, strengthen the effectiveness of aid disbursement, and establish a more modern, efficient, and transparent governance,” the Cabinet Secretary added.

Also attending to the meeting were among others Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini, Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Rachmat Pambudy, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, members of the National Economic Council (DEN) Mari Elka Pangestu, Chatib Basri, Firman Hidayat, Tubagus Nugraha, and Pantro Pander Silitonga, as well as Presidential Special Assistants Dirgayuza Setiawan and Agung Gumilar.
