President Prabowo Meets King of Belgium at Laeken Palace

President Prabowo Subianto met with the King of Belgium, King Philippe, at Laeken Palace on Sunday afternoon (07/13). Upon his arrival at the Laeken Palace, President Prabowo was welcomed directly by King Philippe in the palace courtyard.
The two then entered the palace and paused briefly for a photo session in the main hall of the historic building. Afterwards, President Prabowo and King Philippe held a tête-à-tête or one-on-one meeting, in the King’s private office.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, both leaders exchanged views on strengthening Indonesia–Belgium bilateral relations, as well as other strategic issues of mutual interest.
King Philippe later personally bid farewell to the President at the vehicle that would take him to Brussels Airport. President Prabowo is scheduled to travel to France later to attend the Bastille Day celebration on July 14, 2025, as an official guest of honor. (BPMI Setpres) (AS/TM)
