President Prabowo Subianto, National Police Chief Discuss Public Security and Bhayangkara Day

President Prabowo Subianto Thursday (06/25) met with Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta to discuss recent developments in public security and order.

“The National Police Chief presented an update on the latest security and public order situation across various regions. The report outlined the overall national security conditions and the ongoing measures the National Police is taking to maintain stability and ensure the smooth implementation of the national development agenda,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in a written statement.

According to the Cabinet Secretary, the National Police Chief also briefed the President on the force’s preparations for the 2026 Bhayangkara Day commemoration. This includes preparing a series of extensive social service initiatives and community-focused activities to be carried out across the country.

“Various social service and community activities have been organized across Indonesia to honor the National Police’s service to the nation and the state, while also strengthening the relationship between the police and the public,” he concluded. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (FI/EP)
