President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (10/01) leads the 2025 Pancasila Sanctity Day commemoration ceremony, at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, Lubang Buaya, Jakarta. This ceremony was the first occasion for President Prabowo since his inauguration as Head of State.

President Prabowo arrived at the venue around 8:00 a.m. Upon arrival at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, the President received a report from the ceremony officer, Brigadier General Fitriana Nur Heru Wibawa, who currently serves as Chief of Staff of the Jakarta Permanent Garrison Command I.

The ceremony began with greetings, salute, and the report of the presiding officer to the inspector of the ceremony. Serving as the presiding officer of the ceremony was Colonel Muhamad Amry Taufanny.

President Prabowo led participants in a moment of silence, honoring the services of the revolutionary heroes who sacrificed their lives to defend the nation’s ideology.

Afterward, the Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR), Ahmad Muzani, read the text of Pancasila, followed by the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution read by the Deputy Speaker of the Regional House of Representative (DPD), Yorrys Raweyai. In the meantime, the Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Puan Maharani, read and signed the pledge text. The ceremony concluded with a prayer delivered by Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar.

The commemoration ceremony was also attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, ambassadors of friendly nations, leaders of state institutions, Ministers and Vice Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, as well as other invited guests. The presence of these state officials further underscored the importance of the Pancasila Sanctity Day.

After the ceremony, President Prabowo, accompanied by several Cabinet Ministers and invited guests, visited the Lubang Buaya, a historic site that serves as both a symbol of struggle and a reminder of the sacrifices of the revolutionary heroes.
