President Prabowo Subianto holds Government Working Meeting with Red and White Cabinet members, echelon I officials of ministries/institution across Indonesia, and president directors of state-owned enterprises, at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (04/08)
To evaluate the Government’s performance and to strengthen consolidation among ministries/institution in Indonesia amid an increasingly complex global situation, President Prabowo Subianto Wednesday (04/08) convened a Government Working Meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
The meeting was attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet members, echelon I officials of ministries/institution nationwide, and president directors of state-owned enterprises.
In the meeting, the President expressed his appreciation to the success of his administration in maintaining and safeguarding the course of national development, particularly in the face of today’s global uncertainties.
“During the first year of our administration, we achieved several concrete milestones and accomplishments. We managed to deliver those tangible results, even as we faced a world filled with uncertainties, conflicts, wars that threaten global stability,” he added.
Furthermore, he stated that the Government is now able to navigate various global challenges while maintaining the national stability.
Over the past year and a half, the Government, he added, has demonstrated strong performance in implementing programs and policies in the interest of the nation.
“Thank God, we have been able to steer the course of national development. We have mitigated many risks and proven that the Government works effectively and is capable of upholding good governance,” he said.
The Head of State also underscored that Indonesia remains relatively stable and is in a stronger position than many other countries even though the protracted global crisis and the conflict in the Middle East have triggered a significant increase in global energy prices.
“I have studied the data and reports from my ministers and I see that we are still in a relatively strong position. We certainly face challenges and difficulties, but we have been able to confront and manage them,” he added.
For the record, the working meeting reaffirmed that the entire Government must continue to strengthen synergy, accelerate program implementation, and ensure every policy delivers tangible benefits for improving people’s welfare. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RAS/EP)
