The newly opened Ngoerah Sun Wellness and Aesthetic Center (NSWAC) at Prof. dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Central General Hospital has been warmly welcomed by the public, according to President Director dr. I Wayan Sudana.

The center, which signifies the Government’s effort to provide high-quality healthcare services accessible to Indonesian citizens, was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (06/25).

It has been operating in a limited capacity since January and has begun admitting domestic and foreign patients since February.

“We are grateful because apparently the service users have shown a growing interest each passing month. It is evident from the number of patient visits, and it is inseparable from our income,” dr. I Wayan said on a separate occasion.

The President Director expressed hope that the NSWAC can reduce the number of Indonesian citizens traveling abroad to obtain wellness and aesthetic treatments.

“We hope such treatments are available in Indonesia, especially in Bali, as the standards are on par with those in South Korea. Thus, people who need such treatments can get them in Indonesia, here in Bali, so there’s no need to seek care abroad,” he said.

Tari, a resident of Denpasar and a visitor who received a facial treatment at the NSWAC, expressed appreciation for the facilities and services.

“They have advanced and complete facilities, and the building is comfortable, just like a five-star hotel. Everything is excellent and the employees are friendly,” she said.

The service center is expected to not only provide quality alternatives for individuals seeking modern healthcare treatments, but also to promote local economic growth and further strengthen Bali’s position as a leading healthcare destination in the region.
