President Prabowo Installs New BRIN Head, Deputy Head

President Prabowo Subianto installed Arif Satria as the new Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and Amarulla Octavian as the Deputy Head. The two high-ranking officials were inaugurated at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (11/10).

Their appointment is stipulated in Presidential Decree No. 123/P of 2025 on the Dismissal and Appointment of the Head and Deputy Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency.

The inauguration proceeded with the swearing-in ceremony according to the Islamic faith, led directly by the President. The ceremony was conducted solemnly, emphasizing the commitment of the newly appointed officials to take on their duties with responsibility and integrity.

“That I will remain faithful to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will comply with all laws and regulations to the fullest, for the sake of my service to the nation and the state,” said President Prabowo as he dictated the oath of office to the newly appointed officials.

The ceremony was then followed by the signing of the minutes by the newly appointed officials and concluded with the President, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and the invited guests extending their congratulations.

Attending the ceremony were leaders of state institutions, ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces General Agus Subiyanto, and Chief of the Indonesian National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (FI/MMB)
