President Prabowo Subianto and President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China on Saturday (11/09) witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements between Indonesia and China. The signing ceremony was held in one of the rooms at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, China.
The signed cooperation agreements between Indonesia and China were as follows:
- Protocol of Phytosanitary Requirements for Export of Fresh Coconuts from Indonesia to China;
- Technical Work Guidelines for Promoting Sustainable Fishing;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Blue Economy Cooperation;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Mineral Resources Cooperation;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Green Mineral Cooperation;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Water Resources Cooperation; and
- Memorandum of Understanding on Conformity Assessment Cooperation.
The agreements reflect a comprehensive approach to strengthening Indonesia-China relations in various fields. They also demonstrate the commitment of both countries to continue enhancing Indonesia-China bilateral cooperation. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/DNS) (RI/MUR)
