Jembrana Residents Welcome President Prabowo Subianto, Voice Support for Clean Energy

President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (08/25) visited areas in Jembrana regency, Bali province.

His visit created a lively atmosphere along the route to the Gilimanuk Solar Power Plant site, where enthusiastic residents lined the streets to welcome him.

As President Prabowo Subianto’s vehicle passed by, residents lined both sides of the road. Children, students, and elderly residents waited to welcome him personally as he arrived in the area known as Gumi Mekepung.

Small red-and-white flags waved in the crowd’s hands. Some residents held signs with messages of welcome messages and gratitude, while others even carried a miniature Garuda Pancasila to greet the Head of State.

From the roof of the Maung vehicle he was riding in, the President warmly returned the welcome, repeatedly waving to the residents who had gathered along the route.

On several occasions, President Prabowo Subianto also approached the crowd and took time to shake hands with residents, drawing enthusiastic responses from those who had been waiting for his arrival.

“Welcome to Gumi Mekepung,” read one of the signs held up by residents to welcome the President.

The public reception also featured messages supporting clean energy, a central theme of President Prabowo Subianto’s working visit to Jembrana.

“Sukseme (Thank you), Mr. President, Bali for Clean Energy,” read one of the signs carried by residents.

Another sign conveyed the community’s hopes for wider use of solar energy on the “Island of the Gods.”

“Solar Power Plants for an Independent and Energy-Sufficient Bali” and “Thank You for Making Bali’s Solar Power Plants a Reality” were among the messages displayed along the President’s route to Gilimanuk.

The community transformed the journey to the event venue into more than just part of an official working visit.
