President Prabowo Subianto Attends BRICS Summit Session on Inclusive and Sustainable Global Growth

President Prabowo Subianto Sunday (09/13) participated in the second day of the 2026 BRICS Summit by attending a session titled “Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability: Shaping the Future for Inclusive Global Growth.” The session was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, India.

The meeting was part of a series of discussions among leaders of BRICS member states and partner countries on strategic issues concerning the future of inclusive and sustainable global economic growth.

Before the meeting began, the Head of State joined other attending leaders for a group photo. On the occasion, he stood alongside Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Following the photo session, President Prabowo Subianto was seen speaking with Indian Prime Narendra Modi and Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.

The Indonesian President then proceeded to the meeting room to participate in the session with leaders of BRICS member states and partner countries.

The meeting also gave BRICS members and partner countries an opportunity to exchange views on the importance of building resilience in the face of various global challenges.

At the beginning of the session, Prime Minister Modi outlined India’s priorities during its BRICS presidency, emphasizing the principles of resilience, innovation, cooperation, and sustainability.

“Under India’s Presidency, we have focused all our efforts on the core principles of resilience, innovation, cooperation, and sustainability. I am grateful that, with your help and support, we have been able to translate our vision smoothly into a sustainable one,” Prime Minister Modi said.

Following Prime Minister Modi’s opening remarks, the meeting continued with statements from leaders of BRICS member states and partner countries on joint efforts to shape the future of global growth so that it becomes more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.
