President Prabowo Welcomed with State Honors Ceremony at Les Invalides Paris

President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday (5/28) was welcomed with a state honors ceremony during his official visit to the French Republic, held at Les Invalides, Paris, with a series of military honors.
Upon his arrival at Les Invalides, President Prabowo was welcomed directly by Prime Minister of France Sébastien Lecornu. This welcome started the ceremony that was performed in a solemn atmosphere.
President Prabowo proceeded to salute the national flags of both countries, accompanied by the playing of the national anthem of Indonesia “Indonesia Raya” followed by the national anthem of France “La Marseillaise”.
Afterward, both leaders introduced their respective delegates. Indonesian delegations included Ragowo Hediprasetyo, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry Rosan Roeslani, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Indonesian Ambassador to France Mohamad Oemar.
After the introduction, President Prabowo inspected the guards of honor by riding the command vehicle ACMAT, moving along the line of the guards, and turning back towards the starting point. The ACMAT was the same vehicle that President Macron rode during Bastille Day last June.
The ceremony was conducted in a respectful atmosphere, reflecting the highest tribute to President Prabowo’s visit.
After the ceremony, President Prabowo continued his trip to Élysée Palace in Paris, accompanied by a magnificent state procession performed by a cavalry troop consisting of 146 personnel and a motorized troop consisting of 27 personnel. The tradition symbolized high appreciation for the friendly country and reflected stronger and strategic bilateral relations between Indonesia and France.
