President Prabowo Launches Village Cooperatives, Marsinah Museum, and Corn Harvest in E.Java

President Prabowo Subianto on Saturday (05/16) arrived at the Indonesian Air Force Base Iswahjudi, Magetan regency, East Java province at approximately 08.00 Western Indonesia Time, for a working visit.

The arrival of the President was welcomed by, among others, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, Regent of Magetan Nanik Endang Rusminiarti, Commander of Iswahjudi Air Force Base Air Commodore M. Anjar Legowo, and Chief of Police of Magetan Chief Commissioner Raden Erik Bangun Prakasa.

This official working visit carries several strategic agendas focusing on strengthening people‑based economy as well as food security. From the Indonesian Air Force Base Iswahjudi, President Prabowo continued his journey to Nganjuk regency and Tuban regency to attend a series of activities.

In Nganjuk regency, President Prabowo will inaugurate the Marsinah Museum and a Shelter House. These facilities are expected to serve as an educational space, strengthen the values of struggle, and reflect the Government’s attention toward social community aspects.

In addition, the Head of State will also inaugurate the operation of 1,061 Merah Putih Village/Subdistrict Cooperatives. This program is part of the Government’s efforts to strengthen village and subdistrict community economies through the development of productive and integrated cooperatives.

Furthermore, President Prabowo will head to Tuban regency to attend the Q2 2026 Nationwide Corn Harvest Ceremony. This agenda is part of the Government’s efforts to maintain productivity in the agricultural sector while strengthening national food security amid global challenges.
