President Prabowo Subianto, Wednesday (6/24), received the Adi Bhakti Tani Nelayan Maha Utama gold badge from the National Farmers and Fishermen Association (KTNA) at the peak of the 17th National Farmers and Fishermen Week (PENAS) 2026 at the Limboto Sports Center, Gorontalo regency, Gorontalo province.

The badge was awarded as a token of appreciation for the President’s attention, support, and commitment to Indonesian farmers and fishermen. The award was presented by Muhammad Yadi Sofyan Noor, Chairman of the 17th PENAS Organizing Committee-cum-Chairman of KTNA.

On the occasion, Yadi expressed his appreciation to the President for his support of the national agriculture and fisheries sector. He said that PENAS serves as a collaborative forum for farmers, fishermen, extension workers, academics, business sector, as well as the Government and private sector in achieving sustainable food self-sufficiency.

“On behalf of the extended family of KTNA, I express my utmost appreciation and gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia for his attention, concern, and support to farmers and fishermen,” Muhammad Yadi said, adding that the President’s presence among the farmers and fishermen is a kind of support and encouragement for people working in the food sector.

“The President’s presence is an honor and encouragement for us to work, innovate, and contribute to agricultural development,” he said.

In his remarks, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all Indonesian farmers and fishermen, whom he considered to be key pillars in maintaining national food security. The Head of State emphasized that Indonesia’s success in increasing food production is a result of the hard work and dedication of farmers and fishermen across the country.

“Thank you, all Indonesian farmers and fishermen, thank you for your hard work. There is still a long way to go, but you have proven your high enthusiasm.
