President Prabowo Inspects Forest, Land Fires in Kubu Raya to Ensure Optimal Response

Following the Cabinet Meeting on the response to the forest and land fires held at Supadio Air Force Base, President Prabowo proceeded to inspect an affected area in Limbung village, Kubu Raya regency, West Kalimantan province on Saturday (8/22).

Upon his arrival, the President inspected the burnt land. He closely observed the affected area and how the officers handled the situation.

During the inspection, the President also gave directives to the ministers and relevant personnel who joined him. He emphasized the importance of a prompt, coordinated response to prevent the fire from spreading to other areas.

President Prabowo also greeted the officers who were assigned to handle the burnt land. The President’s presence reflects his concern for the collective hard work in handling the forest and land fires.

In addition, the President also greeted affected communities in surrounding areas. The interaction was part of the President’s agenda to visit the communities in affected areas.

Through this visit, President Prabowo aimed to ensure that his directives and strategy in response to the forest and land fires were conducted effectively.
