President Prabowo Subianto has urged the Batch XXXIII of Young Civil Service Officers (PPM) 2026 of the state-run Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) to always put the interests of the people first in every aspect of their service as government apparatuses. The Head of State conveyed the message during the Inauguration Ceremony of Graduates of IPDN Batch XXXIII 2026 at the IPDN campus, Sumedang regency, West Java province, on Wednesday (07/29).

“Work with sincerity and humility. Always remain close to the people and stand up for them. If you are ever in doubt, side with the people. When you are faced with a difficult decision, ask yourself which choice will benefit the people,” the President stated.

In his remarks, the President also emphasized that every civil service officer must have a genuine love for the nation and all Indonesians. The Head of State further called on the newly-inaugurated officers to continuously commit to Pancasila in carrying out their responsibilities.

“Do not have narrow loyalties. Our country is diverse, with many ethnic groups, religions, races, and communities. We are one family. Every ethnic group is your family. Every religion is your family. Every race is your family. Every community is your brothers and sisters,” he advised.

The President also reminded the officers to uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The Head of State emphasized that the Constitution embodies the ideals of the nation’s founding fathers and was born out of Indonesia’s long struggle for independence.

“Our Constitution, the 1945 Constitution, is the pure expression of our independence and visions of our founding fathers. Never betray the ideals of those who founded this nation,” he added.

Concluding his address, the President expressed his hope that the newly-inaugurated officers would uphold the good name of their families and alma mater. He also encouraged them to become apparatuses who make the nation proud through their best dedication and service to the people.

“Carry out your duties with determination. May Almighty God always grant you strength, guidance, and protection wherever you serve. May God always be with us. Indonesia awaits your service,” the President concluded. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (YA/AW)
