President Trump Praises President Prabowo Subianto’s Tough and Smart Leadership on Global Stage

President Prabowo received a direct appreciation from President of the United States Donald Trump for his leadership, assertiveness, and Indonesia’s active contribution to promoting global peace during the Inaugural Meeting of the Board of Peace held at the Donald J. Trump United States Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C, United States of America, Thursday (02/19).

The appreciation was conveyed in front of world leaders and internationally renowned figures who attended the Board of Peace forum.

In his remarks, President Trump openly expressed his admiration for President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership character, describing him as tough and respected by the international community.

President Trump even said President Prabowo Subianto is strong and smart in facing various global dynamics.

“A man that I really like a lot, and he is definitely tough. I don’t want to fight him. President Prabowo of Indonesia,” said President Trump, which was met with great interest from the forum participants.

President Trump also highlighted Indonesia’s significant role as a country with a big population and its strategic influence in the region and the world. President Trump also recognizes Indonesia as a great power that demonstrates an outstanding job and is highly respected by many nations.

“It is a big country you have, and you do a great job and are respected by everybody,” added President Trump.

President Trump also expressed his appreciation for Indonesia as a great power that plays a significant role in the global dynamics, specifically praising President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership and describing him as tough and smart in addressing various global challenges.

“Thank you very much, Indonesia. It is a great country. Thank you very much. Look at that man (President Prabowo), look how tough he is. Do you think it is easy dealing with him? Look at that face, you are a tough cookie, and we say it lovingly, too. We need strength. He said he does not mind (being addressed like that). He is tough, and he is smart, and smart is more important,” concluded President Trump.
