President Prabowo Receives VP’s Brief on G20 Summit Outcomes

President Prabowo Subianto met with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming at Merdeka Palace Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/25). The Vice President reported his attendance on behalf of the President during the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya on his written statement said that Vice President Gibran had arrived in Jakarta after attending a series of the G20 forum. The Vice President immediately reported to President Prabowo regarding the results of the discussions and follow-up actions on various international cooperation agreements obtained during the forum.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy also explained that Vice President Gibran took an active part on numerous key G20 sessions and reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to actively engage in the development of global technology ecosystem.

“He (the VP) also reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to promote equitable access to technology and fair global partnerships,” Teddy said further.

Vice President Gibran also conveyed messages and warm greetings from G20 Heads of State/Government to President Prabowo as symbols of appreciation and tied diplomatic relations. (Bureau for Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat) (GA/MB)
