President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (09/25) attends the groundbreaking ceremony of D’PrimaHotel Nusantara in the Nusantara Capital (IKN), East Kalimantan province.

“The construction of D’PrimaHotel, a budget hotel, will provide more options for those who visit the IKN,” President Jokowi said in his remarks.

D’PrimaHotel Nusantara is a budget hotel with a capacity of 154 rooms and is expected to provide an attractive option for travelers. With an investment of Rp100 billion, the project is expected to be completed within one year.

According to the President, the construction of D’PrimaHotel is a strategic investment, considering the very promising economic prospect of the IKN. With the opening of the Nusantara Airport, accessibility to the new capital has improved, opening up wider business and tourism opportunities.

President Jokowi expressed hope that the project can be part of the transformation of the Nusantara Capital into a modern and sustainable growth center.

“By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this morning I officially declare that the construction of D’PrimaHotel Nusantara begins,” the President said. (FID/DNS) (RI/MMB)
