President Prabowo Subianto received an official visit from the Prime Minister of Singapore Lawrence Wong at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (11/06).

The state welcoming ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Prime Minister of Singapore, accompanied by a cavalry unit and a marching band. President Prabowo then welcomed the Prime Minister as he exited the vehicle at the courtyard of Merdeka Palace.

The welcoming ceremony continued with the reverberation of the national anthems of Indonesia and Singapore, accompanied by a 19-gun salute. The President and Prime Minister then inspected the honor guards.

Afterward, President Prabowo and Prime Minister Wong introduced their respective delegations.

The Indonesian delegation consists of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, the Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi, the Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, the Minister of Manpower Yassierli, the Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid, the Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, the Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore Suryopratomo, and the Director General for Asia, Pacific, and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abdulkadir Jailani.

President Prabowo and Prime Minister Wong then entered the Credential Room to have a photo session and sign the state guest book.

The two leaders then held a tête-à-tête meeting at the President’s office and a bilateral meeting at Jepara Room. (FID/DNS) (AF/FI)
