President Prabowo Welcomes Leaders of Friendly Countries at Merdeka Palace

President Prabowo Subianto received several leaders of friendly countries at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Sunday (10/20).

First, the President received the Deputy Prime Minister (PM) of New Zealand Winston Peters. President Prabowo personally greeted Peters upon his arrival, shook hands, and invited him to sign the guest book.

After signing the guest book, both leaders held a bilateral meeting accompanied by their respective delegations.

The next leaders were Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland David Lammy, followed by PM of Singapore Lawrence Wong and PM of Papua New Guinea James Marape.

The President continued to receive other foreign leaders one by one for bilateral meetings, including PM Vanuatu Charlot Salwai Tabimasmas, Deputy PM of Australia Richard Marles, PM of Republic of Korea Han Duck-soon, Vice President of Lao PDR Pany Yathotou, and Vice President of China Han Zheng.
