President Prabowo Subianto chaired a meeting which attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming and a number of ministers from the Red and White Cabinet. The meeting took place at his private residence in Kertanegara, Jakarta, Sunday (10/12).

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said that one of the main focuses of the discussion was the condition and stability of the financial system as well as the national banking system. President Prabowo highlighted the implementation of the Government’s latest policy regarding the management of foreign exchange export proceeds (DHE) regulated by government regulation.

“One of the topics was about our financial and banking system. We also discussed the outcomes of the Government Regulation on the management of foreign exchange export proceeds,” Prasetyo said.

Besides discussing strategic issues in the financial sector, the meeting was also part of the President’s regular agenda to evaluate and update the implementation of government programs.

“Tonight is a regular meeting held almost every week, sometimes on Saturday or Sunday. Whenever President has free time, he calls the ministers,” he explained.

According to him, in the meeting, the President also gave directives and updates on the achievements of priority government programs across various sectors.

“First, as usual, the President updated all programs that have been carried out by the Government. But tonight, there were several special issues discussed,” added the Minister.

The meeting reflects President Prabowo’s commitment to continuously monitor economic policy implementation directly and to ensure that the Government’s strategic steps align with efforts to maintain national stability and strengthen economic resilience. (BPMI) (EST/LW)
