2,000 TNI & Police Graduates Inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto at Merdeka Palace

President Prabowo Subianto Wednesday (07/23) presided over the Prasetya Perwira (Praspa) Ceremony of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police for 2025, held on the grounds of the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.
A total of 2,000 junior officers—including 827 from the Military Academy (Akmil), 433 from the Naval Academy (AAL), 293 from the Air Force Academy (AAU), and 447 from the Police Academy (Akpol)—were formally inaugurated at the ceremony.
At the outset of the event, President Prabowo Subianto, serving as the Inspector of the Ceremony, received a report from the Ceremony Officer Brigadier General TNI Arynovian, before proceeding to the podium to lead the proceedings.
Following the royal salute and the report from the Ceremony Commander, Colonel Laut (P) Andike Sry Mutia, the inauguration process commenced with the reading of the Presidential Decrees by the President’s Military Secretary, Major General TNI Kosasih, speifically Presidential Decree Number 56/TNI of 2025 and Presidential Decree Number 57/Polri of 2025.
As a symbol of appreciation for academic and leadership achievements, the President pinned officer rank insignias on eight junior officers who received the Adhi Makayasa award from each academy.
The recipients were Second Lieutenant Arhanud Alim Bimo Pratowo (Akmil Class IV), Second Lieutenant Inf Muh. Afridzal Muchlis (Akmil Class III), Second Lieutenant Laut Pelaut Menanda Putra Duta (AAL Class IV), Second Lieutenant Laut Technician Aryya Handaru (AAL Class III), Second Lieutenant Technician Evan Basith Reswara (AAU Class IV), Second Lieutenant Electronics Axel Fahreza Aditama (AAU Class III), Police Inspector Muh. Malik Aditya K. (Akpol Class IV), and Police Inspector Fathan Putra Rifito (Akpol Class III).
Five junior officers of various religions represented their peers during the oath-taking procession, which President Prabowo Subianto personally led.
“I will fulfill my duties as an officer to the best of my ability for the Indonesian nation and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia,” President Prabowo read, dictating the officer’s oath for TNI and Polri.
In his address, the President congratulated the newly-inaugurated officers and reminded them of the immense responsibility they now shoulder, emphasizing that they are not merely academy graduates but individuals who embody the aspirations of all Indonesians.
“You are the hope of the entire nation. Serve to the best of your abilities. Congratulations on your duties, junior officers of TNI and Polri class of 2025. The people, the state, and the nation await your devoted service,” the President said.
The ceremony concluded with a final report from the Ceremony Commander, followed by a royal salute and a national salute that stirred the spirit of nationalism among all participants and guests. (BPMI) (EST/EP)
