“We note that the State Budget realization has improved,” Sri Mulyani said at the 2021 State Budget Realization press conference, Monday (01/03).

This realization grew by 21.6 percent, higher than that of the 2020 State Budget which amounted to Rp1,647.8 trillion. “This is a robust recovery and rebound despite the pandemic that hit us with Delta and Omicron (variants),” the Minister added.

According to Sri Mulyani, the temporary realization of tax revenues reached Rp1,277.5 trillion or 103.9 percent of the set target (Rp1,229.6 trillion) or a 19.2 percent increase compared to the figure in 2020 (Rp1,072.1 trillion), while customs and excise revenues reached Rp269 trillion or 125.1 percent of the target (Rp215 trillion), higher than last year’s Rp213 trillion.

In the meantime, non-tax state revenues (PNBP) reached Rp452 trillion or 151.6 percent of the target (Rp298.2 trillion) or grew by 31.5 percent compared to the figure in 2020 (Rp343.8 trillion).

“The recovery has far exceeded last year’s contraction and the improvement is also higher than the 2019 pre-COVID-19 level,” Sri Mulyani remarked. (PR of Ministry of Finance/UN) (GWH/MUR)
