22 UMKM Receive Pramakarya Award
Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri handed-over the 2015 Pramakarya Award to the Governor of Yogyakarta, Governor of Aceh and several regents/mayor who represented their regions, on Tuesday (24/11) at the State Palace, Jakarta
President Joko Widodo handed-over productivity award the 2015 Pramakarya Award to 22 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (24/11).
Minister of Manpower M. Hanif Dhakiri, in his report to the President, stated that the 22 enterprises that receive the award have high productivity and good performance as well as always improve their performance so they are ready to compete in globalisation era.
This Pramakarya Award is given to any business that is successful in improving and maintaining its productivity at least for three years in a row, Minister Hanif said.
The 22 UMKM that received the award comprising of 11 small enterprises and 11 medium enterprises from all over Indonesia.
The 11 small enterprises are UD Ulle Karang (Aceh), Serba Susu (West Java), Kokoci (West Sumatera), Dalang Collection (Riau), Pia Saronde (Gorontalo), Kioski Gallery (Bali), UD Kreasi Lutvi (North Sumatera), CV Deschino Sport (Jakarta), PT Batik Banten Mukamas (Banten), UD Pelangi Indonesia (East Java), and Lestari Indah (Central Kalimantan).
Meanwhile, the 11 medium enterprises are PT Mega Global Food Industry (East Java), CV Volva Indonesia (Yogyakarta), PT Dimembe Nyiur Agripo (North Sulawesi), PT Bali Tangi (Bali), PT Allusan Batik (Yogyakarta), PT Lambang Jaya (Lampung), CV Batik Semarang 16 (Central Java), CV Tria Rumah Busana (South Sumatera), PT Busur Inti Indo Panah (North Sumatera), Tenun Siak Wan Fitri (Riau), and PT Kharisma Rotan Mandiri (Central Java).
Minister Hanif said that the Government gives the award to the businesspeople in order to encourage them to always maintain their productivity and always improve it by using technical tools and implementing the methods of productivity improvement. (MMB/YM/Naster)
