79th Indonesia’s Independence Anniversary Reflects Nation’s Maturity, Cabinet Secretary Says

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung sends message on the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta.

On the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said that this year’s anniversary bears the symbol for maturity of the Indonesian nation and also reflects the country’s long history as a state.

“Seventy-nine not only reflects the Indonesia’s long history as a state but also becomes a symbol for maturity of a nation, the Indonesian nation,” he said.

He also underlined that this year’s theme “Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju” (New Nusantara Advanced Indonesia) exhibits spirits, hopes, and clear vision for the better future. He also emphasized the importance of equitable development across Indonesia in order to ensure justice and progress for all people.

Pramono also called on all national elements to join hands in realizing an advanced Indonesia. He expressed belief that Indonesia can become a greater and prosperous country by upholding the spirit of togetherness and strong determination.

“With the spirit of new Nusantara, let us unite to manifest an advanced Indonesia. In togetherness, we will surely create a greater and prosperous Indonesia,” he remarked. (TGH/DNS) (RAS/MMB)
