Regarding Announcement of Cabinet, President Jokowi Says ASAP
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) again said that he would announce the names of ministers in his cabinet. According to the President, the announcement would take place on Wednesday (22/20) at the fastest. Yet he did not say the location of the announcement.
Perhaps today President said it after meeting with acting (Plt) Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and all ranks of Jakarta administration and city administration (DPRD DKI) at official residence of the Governor at Surapati Park, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Wednesday morning (22/10).
The place where the announcement of Cabinet would take place could be at Tanah Abang, Tanjung Priok, or Sunda Kelapa, Jakarta
Previously President Jokowi said that he had called candidates of his ministers on Monday evening (20/10) until predawn of the next day and then continued on Tuesday (21/10) involving the names such as former Coordinating Minister of Economy in United Cabinet II Chairul Tanjung, former KSAD Gen. Ret. Ryamirzad Ryacudu, former BIN Chairman Hendroprijono, Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar, Muslim scholar Komaruddin Hidayat, Senior Deputy Governor BI Mirza Adityaswara, and politicians from Hanura Party Yudi Krisnandi.
Clarification of the names of minister candidates for Jokowis cabinet had been requested to Corruption Eradication (KPK) and Financial Transaction Report and Analysis Center (PPATK) on Friday (17/10).
KPK had submitted the track record result of the names of minister candidates to President Jokowi on Sunday (19/10). KPK marked red and yellow to the names of minister candidates who had given by Jokowi. (WID/SM/ES)
