President Jokowi Conducts Bilateral Talks on the Sidelines of IORA Summit
President Joko Jokowi Widodo conducted bilateral talks with a number of world leaders, including Heads of Government/State and representatives of friendly countries attending the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Summit of at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, Tuesday (7/3).
The bilateral talks, which were held on the sidelines of the IORA Summit, were aimed at discussing cooperation and issues in various fields.
The bilateral talks were held with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, President of Yemen Mansour Hadi, President of Mozambique Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif, and Vice President of India Hamid Ansari.
In the meantime, Vice President Jusuf Kalla also conducted bilateral meetings with representatives of a number of countries, including Oman, India, Singapore, Somalia, and Tanzania.
After having those bilateral talks, President Jokowi attended the closing ceremony of the Summit on Tuesday afternoon (7/3). (RMI/JAY/ES) (RA/ EP/ YM/Naster)
