Cabinet Secretariat, Bank Mandiri Launch Social Media Contest

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and CEO of state-owned lender Bank Mandiri Kartika Wirjoatmodjo on Monday launched Social Media Contest with hashtag #MenujuIndonesiaMaju (toward a developed Indonesia) with a total prize worth Rp107 million (already deducted by tax).
Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Cabinet Work Support, Yuli Harsono, as committee chairman of the contest, in his report said that the contest would be held from April to November 2018 and will be organized by Cabinet Secretariat in cooperation with Bank Mandiri.
“Every month there will be three types of contest through social media channel of Secretariat Cabinet, namely Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram,” Yuli said.
The contest for Youtube users are vlog contest and short film contest on infrastructure development in Indonesia and on impact of development for people with 5 minutes maximum duration, Yuli said. As for Twitter users, according to Yuli, there is a contest to make moments/tweet series/chirpstory about the impact of the Governments strategic policies.
“In addition, there is also a Crossword contest via Twitter,” Yuli Further said, adding that for Instagram users there are video reporting/1-minute vlog contest and finding words in the box, while for Facebook users the contests are crossword and filling in the missing words from the speech of the President or Cabinet Secretary.
“One of the goals of this contest is to inform the people about the progress of development the Government has achieved,” Yuli concluded.
