President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, accompanied by Vice President Jusuf Kalla, on Tuesday (26/6) at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, led a Limited Cabinet Meeting on Preparation for the 2018 International Monetary Fund (IMF) – World Bank Annual Meeting.

The meeting was held after Limited Cabinet Meeting on State Apparatus Pension Fund.

In his introductory remarks, the President expressed his hope that the airport, meeting halls, security, accommodations and supporting facilities are ready for the annual meeting to be held in October this year.

“(The preparation) is very important for the 15,000 delegates from 189 IMF-World Bank member countries,” the President said, adding that technical problems must be immediately resolved.

President Jokowi further said that based on his inspection and his dialog with the Governor during his visit to Bali, physical facilities would be ready by the end of July and added that other preparations should be finished by October.

Also present during the meeting were Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto, Coordinating  Minister for the Economy Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for the Maritime Luhut B. Pandjaitan, Governor of central bank Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo, Chairman of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Wimboh Santoso, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna H. Laoly, Minister of Transportation Budi K. Sumadi, Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya, Minister of Health Nila F. Moelok, Minister of Communication and Informatics Rudiantara, Commander of Indonesian National Defense Forces Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and Chief of Indonesian National Police General Tito Karnavian.
