Religious Ministry Launches One-stop Integrated Service in 34 Provinces

At the end of 2018, Ministry of Religious Affairs launched One-stop Integrated Service (PTSP) for 34 provinces in Indonesia marked by the inauguration of PTSP of the Ministry’s Central Java Regional Office, in Semarang, Monday (31/12).

“This is a manifestation of our endless efforts to provide services for the people,” Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman Saifuddin said during the inauguration.

Through the PTSP and other information technology applications which have been developed, the Minister expressed hope that the people can get access to the Ministry services in a easier, cheaper, faster and more transparent manner.

The Minister went on to say that PTSP would be gradually available in all Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Offices at regency/city levels in Indonesia by 2019. Therefore, Lukman instructed his office to prepare themselves by improving the services available.

“The quality of services must be improved from time to time,” the Minister firmly said.

Also on that occasion, Head of the Ministry’s Central Java Regional Office Farhani explained that the PTSP of Central Java Regional Office would serve 198 services. “The services are for both external and internal party. In my opinion, this is the largest services in Indonesia,” he added.

Besides inaugurating the PTSP, Minister Lukman in Central Java also gave guidance to the civil servants at the Ministry’s Central Java Regional Office and inaugurated buildings that were developed by using State Sharia Sovereign Bonds (SBSN) funds.

The buildings are among others: 24 Wedding Halls and Manasik Hajj buildings in Central Java, five Wedding Halls and Manasik Hajj buildings in Yogyakarta, and five madrasa (Islamic schools) in Central Java.

Also attending the inauguration were among others Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, Deputy Head of Central Java Regional Police Brig. Gen. Pol. A.Lutfi, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Official Manager KH. Ubaidillah Shodaqoh, and a number of Central Java prominent figures.
