Working Cabinet Ministers Raise Donations for Banten Quake Victims

Ministers and former ministers of the Working Cabinet along with their families raised donations for people affected by a 7.4-magnitude earthquake that hit Banten, located 128 km from the Capital City of Jakarta, on Friday (2/8).

The donations were raised during an event called “Solidarity without Boundary” held at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, on Sunday (4/8), which was also attended by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, First Lady Ibu Iriana, Vice President Jusuf Kalla and spouse Ibu Mufidah Kalla.

“You can give your donation in cash or though bank transfer as a form of solidarity to our brothers and sisters who are affected by the quake,” Minister of State Secretary Pratikno said while encouraging all participants to donate.

The Minister also invited the participants to pray for the victims and called on related parties to provide assistance immediately. (SLN/UN/DID/AGG/ES)
