President, VP Will Use Old Official Cars

President and Vice President-elect for the 2019-2024 period Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and K.H. Ma’ruf Amin will use official cars from the previous administration after the inauguration ceremony on Sunday this week (20/10), according to Head of Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono.

“The President and Vice President will use old official cars. It is the authority of Ministry of State Secretariat to provide new official cars,” Heru said at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta, Thursday (17/10).

He added that President Jokowi will use the official car that he has used since his first presidency, while K.H. Ma’ruf Amin will use the official car that is currently used by Vice President Jusuf Kalla.

According to him, the new official cars for the President and Vice President have not arrived yet. “Hopefully, the new cars will arrive by the end of this year,” Heru said. (FID / RAH / ES)
