Cabinet Secretary Sends Easter Greetings

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has sent Easter greetings for Christians who celebrate it.

“Happy Easter for those celebrate it. I wish you peace and happiness,” Cabinet Secretary said in his Instagram account @pramonoanungw on Sunday (12/4) at 08.10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time.

The Cabinet Secretary also expressed wishes that Indonesia can contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. “I hope that Indonesia will overcome the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.

For the record, the Easter is commemorated by Christians across the globe to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

Ministry of Religious Affairs has called on Christians in Indonesia to celebrate Easter at home amidst the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. (EN)
