President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Thursday (25/6) headed to Banyuwangi Regency in the series of working visit to East Java Province.

Presidential Aircraft carrying the President and his entourage took off from Juanda International Airport, Siduarjo Regency, at 13.00 Western Indonesian Time.

Upon arrival at Banyuwangi International Airport, President Jokowi was welcomed by Regent of Banyuwangi Abdullah Azwar Anas and washed hands in waiting room to comply with health protocols.

Afterwards, the President and his entourage headed to traditional market and Rogojampi Public Service Market.

In the afternoon, the President visited So Long Beach to monitor preparedness towards new normal at tourist destination spot. After the visit, he returned to Jakarta from Banyuwangi International Airport.

Also accompanying President Jokowi in the visit were among others, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Wishnutama Kusubandio, Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa, and Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono. (BPMI/EN)
