The President, according to Muhadjir, had given directive to optimize the local potential by allocating the remaining budget in Ministry of Village as quickly as possible or in October and December at the latest.

“Therefore, the absorption capacity of the rural funds budget must be well targeted and able to accelerate the economy in rural areas,” said Muhadjir.

Furthermore, the Coordinating Minister mentioned the importance of promoting local products and commodities with export quality as villages in Indonesia have its own unique and potential products to go international.

On that occasion, Muhadjir also conveyed that the President emphasized the importance of integration of various kinds of village funds from ministries and institutions. “He ordered to integrate all the funds so that it will be able to strengthen economic leverage in rural areas,” he said.
