President Jokowi Attends Second Day of G20 Leaders Summit

President Jokowi attends a series of G20 Leaders Summit 2020 virtually from the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java Province, Sunday (22/11).

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Sunday (22/11) is slated to deliver his remarks at the second session of the G20 Leaders Summit on Building an Inclusive, Sustainable and Resilient Future.

The summit will also discuss several measures regarding poverty alleviation and inequality, anti-corruption measures, women and youth empowerment, education, tourism, digital economy, as well as measures to control climate change and preserve the environment.

On the first day of the G20 Leaders Summit, the President encouraged G20 member countries to ensure that the vaccine must be accessible to all countries.

According to the President, global health and economic recovery will be possible to achieve through the COVID-19 vaccination.

For the record, the two-day meeting of G20 Leaders Summit 2020 was virtually hosted by Saudi Arabia. The summit will end with a closing ceremony, which will be attended by President Jokowi and heads of state and governments of G20 member countries. (BPMI SETPRES/UN) (RIF/MUR)
