Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia during an Inspection of Mass COVID-19 Vaccination and Inauguration of dr. J. Leimena Central General Hospital (RSUP), 25 March 2021, at Ambon City, Maluku Province
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Good morning,
Peace and prosperity be upon us.
This morning, I visited dr. Johannes Leimena Hospital in Ambon city where vaccination for public servants, the elderly, and religious figures took place. Earlier, the Governor stated that in Maluku province, 116,000 people have been vaccinated. In Ambon city alone, approximately 30,000 people have been vaccinated. The vaccination will continue on a daily basis and we hope that we can complete it on target.
Then, after the groundbreaking in 2017, today the construction of the hospital has been completed. We hope that it can provide excellent health services for people in eastern Indonesia, especially in Maluku province and more specifically, Ambon city. This is a very large hospital, so we hope that those from eastern part of Indonesia can be served at the hospital.
This concludes my remarks on this auspicious opportunity.
I thank you.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
