President Jokowi Inaugurates the Tourism Special Economic Zones of Tanjung Lesung

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Monday (23/2), is scheduled to conduct a working visit to Pandeglang to inaugurate the operation of the Tourism Special Economic Zones (KEK) of Tanjung Lesung.

President Jokowi is scheduled to depart from Bogor by helicopter at 09.00 am, directly to the location of the inauguration in the Tourism Area of Tanjung Lesung, District Panimbang, Pandeglang.

At 10:00 am, the President will push the button as a sign of the operation of Tourism KEK of Tanjung Lesung and also witnessed the signing of the MOU between JABABEKA-BWJ with the investors.

The Tourism KEK of Tanjung Lesung built in this beach tourism area, become the Master Design of Water City Tourism 2020, such as in Venice, Italy.

The area of Tanjung Lesung is a mainstay attraction of Banten province, in addition to other attractions such as Carita Beach.

The region has a “culture heritage” because of the location close to the Ujung Kulon National Park (TNUK), Anak Krakatau Mount and Umang Island.

Tourism KEK will be built on an area of 1,300 hectares, which will be built in a variety of tourism facilities and supporting infrastructure, including a hotel with a variety of classes, Vocational High School of Tourism and other supporting facilities. (Ant/ES)
