President Jokowi Visits Sota Market in Merauke, Papua

After inaugurating the Sota Border Post (PLBN) in Merauke Regency, Papua Province on Sunday (10/03), President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo continued his visit to Sota Market.

At the market, the President had a conversation with a seller. On that occasion, the President also bought some onions and bananas.

Before visiting the Sota Market, the President inspected several facilities at the Border Post, including the Indonesia-Papua New Guinea point of departure, the Papua New Guinea-Indonesia point of arrival and the Plaza Garuda.
