Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Inauguration of Randugunting Dam, in Blora Regency, Central Java Province, January 5, 2022

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Alhamdulillah, thank God, today Randugunting Dam in Blora regency, Central Java province has completed and is ready for operation.

This dam can accommodate 14.4 million cubic meters of water and irrigate 650 hectares of paddy fields in the regencies of Blora, Pati, and Rembang.

We hope Randugunting Dam located in Blora Regency will improve our food security, improve our food self-sufficiency. Considering the key to food security is water, we will achieve it if we build as many dams as possible.

Lastly, we expect the dam, Randugunting Dam, will become a tourist attraction that will benefit Blora regency and the people living surrounding the regency.

That concludes my remarks on this auspicious occasion. By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I hereby inaugurate Randugunting Dam in Blora regency, Central Java province.
