Statement of President of the Republic of Indonesia during the Inspection of Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, January 13, 2022

We came here to see the improvements of facilities that are being prepared for the MotoGP event in March, including preparation for guests’ arrival at the airport, the entry access, PCR test results, and proof of vaccinations, as well as simulation for loading-unloading activities.

Second, regarding landscape arrangement from the airport to Mandalika. The area has been decorated with flowers. We have also re-greened certain hills so that guests who come from the airport heading to Mandalika will see beautiful surroundings.

Third, I have also inspected the circuit, especially the organization’s readiness to face the MotoGP event in March. The problems we face, the readiness of accommodation, transportation, hotel rooms, and flight services, we have checked them all. InsyaAllah, everything is ready.
