In US, President Jokowi to Attend US-ASEAN Special Summit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is slated to attend the U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit, Thursday (05/12), in the series of his state visit to the United States.

First, the President is scheduled to meet with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Products Seifi Ghasemi. Afterwards, he and other ASEAN leaders will have talks and luncheon with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the US congress members at the Capitol Hill.

President Jokowi and other ASEAN leaders are slated to meet with US business leaders after the luncheon. Later in the evening, they will have a dinner with President Joe Biden at the White House.

Accompanying President Jokowi during the visit were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, and Minister of Investment/ Head of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia.
