Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In light of the current conditions in which the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Indonesia is increasingly under control, I would like to convey several points.

First, the Government decided to relax the policy on mask-wearing. If people are active outdoors or in an uncrowded open space, they are allowed not to use masks.  However, for activities indoor and in public transportation, mask remains mandatory.

For people who are categorized as vulnerable, elderly, or have comorbid diseases, I still recommend wearing a mask during their activities.

Likewise, for those who have cough and cold symptoms, they must still wear a mask during their activities.

Second, for domestic and foreign travelers who have received a complete dose of vaccination, there is no longer a need to carry out a PCR or antigen swab test.

This concludes my statement on this auspicious occasion.

Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
