President Jokowi Begins Papua Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo Wednesday (08/31) began a working visit in Papua province by launching the Papua Football Academy (PFA) at Lukas Enembe Stadium in Jayapura regency.

Afterwards, the President is scheduled to hand over several social assistances at Sentani-based post office.

The Head of State is also slated to distribute social assistance at Kampung Doyo Baru Market and inspect Kampung Doyo Baru Healthy House.

In addition to distributing social assistance, the President will also distribute Business Identification Number (NIB) for individual micro and small business actors.

In the afternoon, the President is scheduled to head back to Sentani International Airport and depart from Mozes Kilangin International Airport in Timika, Mimika regency, to visit gold and copper miner PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) employees.
