Statement of President of the Republic of Indonesia during Inspection at Kampung Doyo Baru Healthy Housing at Waibu District, Jayapura Regency, Papua Province, August 31, 2022

Most importantly, the houses that have been built can be occupied immediately. We aim to create a good ecosystem, housing as a good living environment, Minister of Social Affairs has prepared this housing with land for planting crops. The people were planting spinaches, kangkung (water spinach), etc. There are also chicken, pork, and catfish farms, these are good. These all are built at one environment; therefore, besides building the house, we also empower the community. We hope this eventually could increase prosperity.
