During the ceremony of the 77^th anniversary of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/05), President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo conferred medals of merit on personnel of the TNI for their great service in advancing and developing the TNI.

The medals of merit were conferred on three personnel representatives in accordance with Presidential Decrees Number 31/TK/TH 2022, Number 82/TK/TH 2022, and Number 84/TK/TH 2022.

The three representatives were:

1. Colonel Pilot Firman Dwi Cahyono, Operation Assistant to Chief of Air Operation Command Staff I, awarded with Bintang Swa Bhuwana Paksa Nararya (Air Force Meritorious Service Star);
2. Infantry Captain Sudyatmoko Waluyo, Commander of Military Subdistrict 04/Waleri, Military District Command 0715/Kendal, Military Region IV/Diponegoro, awarded with Bintang Kartika Eka Paksi Nararya (Army Meritorious Service Star); and
3. Marine Chief Warrant Officer Raden Beny Vicahyantiana, Chief Warrant Officer of Infantry Batalyon 4, Marine Troops 1 of the Marine Corps, awarded with Bintang Jalasena Nararya (Navy Meritorious Service Star).
